(修改) 进入英语语言原型,便进入吾人不可能得见的英语世界的心相:(之三)
2. 中文白话文不可能与英语对译(兼谈英译中),故英译中百分之七十以上,都是中文的语言图像,跟英语为母语者的,对不到一块去,是吾人以中文强奸英语。
文言文可与之对译,举例: 無的放矢 shoot for no aim or object = to lp(shoot) / unto lp (for no aim) 無風不起浪 no surging without wind = to lp (without wind) / unto (no surging)
= There's no possibility of surging without wind. 何罪之有 What the guilty do I have?
一文不值 to get worth / value for nothing; get no worth even if no more than a penny
一無所長 (没一件事,可被风评为他的长处) = to get good at nothing (nothing is the real subject in which a judgment about one’s ability is made) = to lp (at nothing) / unto lp(get good) 搶得先機 / 先發制人 first strike = an attack made on your enemy before they can attack you / a new weapon system that gives us a first-strike capability
能不我知!(我是个颇能举一反三的人,这些必然会被推敲出来的事还能瞒得住我吗?) = May not what have I? (Is there no possibility of my getting nothing like that?)
谈英译中:待洒家说个痛快:用其语言逻辑,语言心态(mentality),语言图像,将英语的真心实话,活剥出来;更要告诉洋人,他是透过怎样语言操作,把那意思给生出来的,又有那些个黑洞是被其隐去不表的,还要说给他:他是根据什么道理,把那抑扬高低的洋腔给拨弄出来的。首先,说那最简单的:按语言逻辑位阶定英语的抑扬高低。Different lp gives different stress pattern. 吾人都会唱:happy birthday to you = to lp (to you) / unto lp (happy birthday); 这句话的扬音部位在:to you, 因为,to = belonging to / connected with = to lp; 这与中文的文心恰相反,中文是:把祝福给你,所以to you成了to = in a direction towards = unto lp从属语言逻辑位阶。而英语是:视这祝福如红花绿叶,伴随主人翁。即以主人翁为主,祝福乃应主人翁而生者。不是受某人所赐给,而是应主人所生(似乎这才是祝福的真意),今国人强以中文为其义。举例以明,the piano accompaniment to a song, 钢琴随附于歌声(= to lp),成为它的伴随之物 (= unto lp)。 此处,to = coming with / provided with a song = to lp; 又to the accompaniment of the piano, 此处,to = so as to cause = unto lp; 即歌者的歌声 (= to lp),引出来钢琴的伴和 (= unto lp)。 英语的母语者,视语言逻辑若文字的生命,且必配以逻辑的代码如:前置词,或片语等。再举例:You shouldn’t use such bad language in the presence of / in front of the children. 这句话的杨音部位在:in front of, 其重音的起始点在in的后面,‘front of’ 两字上,而在 ‘f ’ 上收尾,重音的念法如英国人念England的音势。所以英语口白说穿了,不值一文,若不点破,跟洋人学一万句,那一万另一句,必然还是得跟洋人学。
浅谈英译中:先说为啥七成以上的英译中不在洋人的语言心相之内?1. 对洋人已说出来的话,吾人因无能进入其语言原型中,于是鲁直地以中文的文心,语感对之。2. 对洋人发声的初态即语言原型,和被其隐而不发的部分则以卑微之姿,不敢稍有探问,因视此为禁地也。对洋人已明示者,出以莽撞;对洋人隐之于心,真正须要‘见微知著’的部分,却又过卑。似此两种心态下,如何能够与洋人的语言心相映和?始作甬者还是‘英语字典’因它是逐没(= 末)者,它只说‘是啥’但决对不说出那个‘啥’是怎地给蹦出来的,就是把『因为…..所以..』掐其头,剩其尾;遂给于国人,自由心证的广大空间;这也是为啥:古人把 末= 没,两者同音,因古人视‘舍本逐末’= ‘缘木求鱼’= ‘零’= ‘没’。 举例:to the degree,这个to是一刀双刃,对the doer 与 the object有不同的逻辑对待,对前者,是:unto the degree; 对后者,是:to the degree; 即前者:to lp (the doer) / unto lp (to the degree); 后者:to lp (to the degree) / unto lp (the object) 举例:I will help you, as far as I can. I will 的I 是the doer of ‘the degree’; I can 的 I是 the object of ‘the degree’ ; 对doer言: to lp (I will help you) / unto lp (as far as I can) = I will help you reaching the degree of I can., 所以对object言:as far as I can = the degree to which that I can = to lp (as far as = to the degree ) / unto lp (that / so as to I can) 中译:对the doer即I will的I言:我原意帮你,此原力有多大?一直到 to the degree of I can; 对the object即I can的I言:the degree to which that I can,那degree乃是能让我can 的 degree 即我的can乃由它来主宰,即在那个degree 我才能can 若超过,我就不能can 于是I can = unto lp 受制于 the degree
